EMERGENCY PROCEDURES MANUAL

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

1. Upon receiving notifications that there is a "Medical Emergency", call the Property Management Office giving the following information:

  1. Nature of the "Medical Emergency".
  2. Exact location and name of the sick or injured person.
  3. Has an ambulance or doctor been notified?
    1. If emergency assistance has not been requested, the Property Management Office will contact the Fire Department or other appropriate organization, and coordinate their entrance into the building.
    2. If an ambulance or doctor has been notified, Building Management can assist them entering the building.

2. Assign one of your assistants to meet the doctor and/or ambulance attendants at the elevator on your floor, and guide them to the sick or injured person.

3. Following the conclusion of the "Medical Emergency":

  1. Consult with your assistants and determine if they encountered any special problems or incidents during the performance of their emergency duties.
  2. The building management office and/or their representative will be preparing an incident report that will be forwarded to the appropriate individuals
